Philips-BenQ VAD6038 DVDROM for all Xbox 360 consoles. This is one of the quickest and quietest of all the XBox 360 DVDROMs.

Replace any failing Xbox 360 DVDROM with one of these new DVDROMs and get back into gaming.

Installation requires you to either swap the DVDROM motherboard from your existing BenQ DVDROM into this new BenQ DVDROM (easiest method) or flash your old drive details onto this new drive (this requires some in-depth firmware flashing knowledge including spoofing the firmware version to report as your original drive, to avoid the console being possibly banned from Xbox live.)

Modz provides professional and speedy repair services and can install this new drive for you if you send your console in to us. We will extract your original DVDROM firmware and create a new firmware with all the correct information. We can even build the firmware using the latest custom firmware to allow playback of 'backup discs' made from your original, PAL game DVD discs. These drives are in perfect working order. All drives are tested before dispatch and carry 90 days warranty when installed by Modz, 30 days if not.

BenQ DVDROM's are known to be the easiest to 'flash' - which is required when you are installing into your console, as the unique Key and drive details are required to match the drive you are replacing.
